Privacy
pairble collects nothing about you. Here is exactly what happens to your data when you set up a device.

The iPhone app and App Clip
No account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The app does not send anything to us or to anyone else.
Bluetooth is used only to talk to the device you are setting up. The camera (in the full app) is used only to read the code on the device; no image is stored or sent.
Your Wi‑Fi password goes from your phone straight to your device over an encrypted connection. It never passes through pairble.com or any other server.
This website and the setup page
The setup page runs entirely in your browser. The device's name and code are in the part of the address that browsers never send to a server. Two exceptions: when the page offers to reopen itself in Chrome (on Android, from a browser without Bluetooth), and for codes printed in an older format, the name and code are part of the address the server receives, and may appear in its access logs.
Like any website, our hosting and CDN providers (including Cloudflare) process technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and keep them secure. We set no cookies; your choice of language and theme is stored only in your browser.
The device
The name and password of your Wi‑Fi network are stored on the device itself, so it can reconnect. They stay there until the device is set up again or reset.
